Fire Extinguisher Training

The California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) requires that employers who provide portable fire extinguishers in the workplace, must also provide training to designated employees. Fidelity Safety's fire extinguisher training program consists of:

Lecture and video
Fire safety, basic school fire prevention, types of fires, types of fire extinguishers, making the "fight or flight" decision, choosing the correct fire extinguisher, operating the extinguisher using the P.A.S.S. system, safety considerations and fire department notification.

Hands-on practice
Participants will be instructed and allowed to put out a clean burning propane fire in a specialized portable pan/water system.
