- In a Hurry?
After you complete the registration process, you will be mailed,
faxed or emailed a confirmation of your registration. Most health departments
accept this confirmation until you receive your certificate after successful
completion of the course/exam. You must provide us with a valid email
or fax number during online registration.

- Course Times:
All of our courses and exams are half-day usually from 8:00 a.m. to
approximately 12 Noon. Check the online schedule
for the exact time and date. If you want to take the exam only, arrive
at the designated location at 11:15 a.m.
- Language:
All courses are taught in English or Spanish, but exams are
available in English, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, modern and traditional
Chinese, Arabic, Japanese and French. You must notify our office immediately
and at least 14-days prior to the course date if you would like the
exam in a language other than English or Spanish.
- Exams:
What is the difference between NRFSP, ServSafe, Prometric and Experior
exams? National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP), ServSafe,
Prometric (formerly Experior) are county, state and nationally accredited
food manager certifications. Some corporations have internal policies
requiring a specific exam. If there is no such policy, then any of the
three certifications are acceptable. Fidelity Safety & Training
currently provides NRFSP and ServSafe exams.

About our Courses:
- We have exams/certificates from the National Registry of Food Safety
Professional (NRFSP) and ServSafe®
from the NRFSP available. An extra charge for ServSafe®
may apply.
- Our food safety books are inexpensive and optional. Feel free to study
from an old book or from a book from a previous or different class.
- Our courses are educational, entertaining, and divided into lecture,
discussion, video, fill-in-the-blank handouts, and a visual presentation.
- You will receive a breakdown of any questions missed on your exam
and a state-approved wall and wallet-sized certificate approximately
three weeks after the course.
- The exam is available in 9 different languages and 99% of all English
speaking students pass the exam the first time.
- Location, location, location. Many locations available for your convenience.
We will also come to your business to conduct a course/exam if you have
12 or more employees.
California Food Safety Laws:
- Each food facility shall have at least one owner or employee certified
in food safety. (1/1/2000) Topics must include: foodborne illness; time
and temperature relationship; personal hygiene and food safety; prevention
of food contamination; cleaning/sanitizing; facility/ equipment/operational
issues.
- A certified person can only represent one facility. This person need
not be present during all hours of operation.
- The certificate must be on file at the facility and there is a five
(5) year expiration, as of July 1, 2007.
- New facilities, change of ownership or departure of certified owner/
employee will have 60 days to meet compliance for certification, as
of 1/1/2000.
Our program is a state approved certification exam/course, which teaches
food service managers and food handlers how to protect against foodborne
illness outbreaks, reduce liability risks, and improve food quality.
In order to become certified, participants must pass the exam given
at the end of the seminar with a score of 75% or better.
